National workshop on arecanut at Dakshina Kannada

MANGALORE: The regional station of the Central Plantation Crops Research Institute (CPCRI) at Vittal in Dakshina Kannada district will conduct a two-day national workshop on `Arecanut' from Monday.

The Principal Secretary, Agriculture and Horticulture, Government of Karnataka, Ms L. Shantha Kumari, will inaugurate the workshop. The President of the Central Arecanut and Cocoa Marketing and Processing Cooperative (Campco) Ltd, Mr L. N. Kudoor, the Regional Manager of Syndicate Bank, Mr B.K Bhat, and the Director of CPCRI, Dr V. Rajagopal, will be the guests of honour.
