TN planters' body elects new chairman

COIMBATORE: Mr Vijayann P. Rajes, MSP Plantations, Yercaud was elected as the Chairman of the Planters' Association of Tamil Nadu for the year 2004-05 at the annual general meeting of the association at Coonoor on Saturday.

Mr T. Jayaram, Havukal Estate in the Nilgiris, has taken over as the Vice-Chairman of the association.
