Teledata Info Q2 net at Rs 19 cr

THE Chennai-based Teledata Informatics Limited, provider of software solutions for marine industry and education sector, has reported a net profit of Rs 19.08 crore on revenues of Rs 72.81 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2004. This is compared to a net profit of Rs 4.93 crore on revenues of Rs 18.41 crore for the corresponding period last year.

The company attributed higher profit to increased demand for its products - WebEIM and Ship Manager - in various countries, including US, Greece, Cyprus, the Netherlands, UK, Dubai and Singapore, says a company press release.
