Sam Vikas Yojna reviewed

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The visiting Union Minister of State for Planning, Mr M.V. Rajasekharan, on Wednesday reviewed the implementation of the Rashtriya Sam Vikas Yojna, a 100 per cent Centrally- assisted scheme.

Announcing this here, an official spokesman said that Rs 90 crore had been sanctioned under the programme that aims to boost agriculture production and productivity in Palakkad and Wayanad districts, apart from bringing down the incidence of poverty.

Among those who attended the review session were Mr V. Ramachandran, Vice Chairman, State Planning Board, and Mr S.M. Vijayanand, Secretary, Planning.
