Airtel extends GPRS facility in Kerala

KOCHI: Airtel, one of the major cellular operators in Kerala, has now extended GPRS facility to its pre-paid customers as well.

GPRS through prepaid is the latest in the series of firsts that Airtel has introduced in the State. The company believes that it would increase GPRS penetration amongst and also enable more subscribers to use the facilities being offered on their handsets to the maximum.

The prepaid subscriber needs to purchase a GPRS recharge card from a retailer to use this facility, an official release said.
