Shasun Chem PAT rises 19.8 pc in H1

SHASUN Chemicals & Drugs recorded a post-tax profit of Rs 9.62 crore (Rs 8.03 crore) in the first half of 2004-05, higher by 19.80 per cent than the corresponding period of the previous year.

The company's income from operations in the first half was Rs 153.42 crore (Rs 129.09 crore), an increase of 18.84 per cent over the earlier year.

In the second quarter of the current fiscal, Shasun registered a post-tax profit of Rs 5.70 crore (Rs 4.93 crore) on an operating income of Rs 85.06 crore (Rs 69.82 crore).
