Chandigarh , Oct. 15

THE US-based NCR Corporation and the Bank of Punjab organised a roadshow here on Friday to demonstrate the first India-specific mobile ATM christened "ASAN'' (easy).

Addressing a press conference, the NCR Regional Manager, Mr Rajiv Arora, said that "ASAN" offers a one-stop shop cost-effective mobile ATM solution to the banks.

He added that sensing the growing need among Indian banks to use mobile ATMs to take this facility to the consumer's doorsteps and create brand visibility, NCR Corporation has developed the complete mobile ATM solution.

He said the mobile "ASAN" solution could play a significant role in facilitating banks to generate trials and ATM familiarity in completely new territories and to better plan returns on investment.

It also supports wireless connectivity.
