BEA showcases Beehive

BEA Systems, an enterprise infrastructure software company, has begun efforts to expand in the region. India hosts a significant chunk of developers.

The Principal Technologist, BEA Systems, Mr Michael F. Smith Jr, said "with India riding the wave of software development, we are keen to increase our efforts and continue on our quest of bringing together developers on a common platform."

Speaking after BEA dev2dev conference held here on Thursday, Mr Smith said recognising the need for an easy-to-use programming model for building J2EE applications, BEA showcased Beehive, a workshop application framework intended to make Java enterprise development more broadly accessible.
