Manoj Shirodkar is IDSA chief

THE Country Director of Herbalife International India, Mr Manoj Shirodkar, has taken over as the Chairman of Indian Direct Selling Association (IDSA), the regulatory and promoting body for the direct selling industry in the country.

"The growth potential in this industry is tremendous. Given the worldwide trends, I expect that in the next 10 years the industry in India will grow to Rs 20,000 crore, offering earning opportunities to 15 million direct sellers," he said in a statement.

Mr Shirodkar said IDSA would focus on consumer protection by acting as a watchdog against unscrupulous operators.
