New Delhi , Oct. 15

IN an effort to allow more Indians to visit Nepal, Royal Nepal Airlines, along with the Nepalese Tourism Board (NTB), has announced a `holiday prize scheme' which offers its passengers the chance of winning 20 round trip air-tickets to Bangkok, Singapore or Kuala Lumpur.

The lucky draw scheme, which is to offer a chance of winning free air tickets to destinations in South-East Asia, is open to all Indian passengers purchasing a round trip with the airline between India and Nepal, the NTB Chief Executive Officer, Mr Tek Bahadur Dangi, said on Friday.

This scheme is to remain in force till December 31 this year and the passenger has to utilise the prize-winning ticket by July 15 next year.

India is an important tourist market for Nepal. The number of Indians visiting Nepal has been steadily increasing and is likely to touch the 1,00,000-mark by the end of the year up from about 86,000 Indian tourists visiting last year, Mr Dangi said.
