Engineering Texmaco Q2 net, income up Our Bureau
Kolkata , Oct. 17 TEXMACO Ltd has recorded a total income of Rs 61.87 crore in the second quarter of the current fiscal, compared with Rs 38.2 crore in the corresponding quarter of 2003-04. The company has posted a lower other income - Rs 33 lakh (Rs 1.21 crore). Net profit was higher at Rs 3.45 crore(Rs 22 lakh). Texmaco, according to a press release, has seen a rise in production, supported by a good order book position. Owing to the late release of wagon orders by the Railways, production against new orders would be turned out in the second half of the year, it is said.
