THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management - Kerala (IIITM-K), in association with Borland India, is conducting a half-day seminar on `Software delivery optimisation' here on Tuesday.

Announcing this, Dr K.R. Srivathsan, Director, IIITM-K, said the seminar was part of a series being organised to build awareness and competency in quality software product design and development. Software quality is a major issue in IT and a hard problem for the industry. But it is seldom taught in the IT and computer science courses.

Experts from Borland India, leaders in marketing of platform-independent software tools, will handle various sessions in the seminar. Interested software developers and senior students in IT and computer science are welcome to attend the seminar, Dr Srivathsan said.
