Coimbatore , Oct. 17

VERITAS Software Solutions Pvt Ltd and Network Appliance India Pvt Ltd, a provider of enterprise network storage solutions, have extended their existing partnership to India to develop and deliver integrated solutions to customers through joint sales and marketing, product integration and cooperative technical support.

The two companies envisage strategic collaboration between vendors to meet the escalating demand, especially as users look for simplified IT infrastructure and processes.

Having worked together for integrating all product offerings that support Windows, UNIX and Linux platforms, the companies are now confident of offering the best data protection, storage management and support solutions.

According to company sources, they are focused on delivering near-term benefits to existing customers by continuing to drive down storage and storage management costs.

The Asia-Pacific market was at least 30 per cent of the storage market worldwide. The Indian market alone was sizeable at over a $100 million, and was growing at a rapid pace.
