This is with reference to "US presidential debates — High point of American democracy" (Business Line, October 19). Similar debates should be conducted in India, the world's largest democracy. These debates will enable the public to have a good understanding of each party's agenda and principles. Also, the people will know what to expect when a particular party is voted to power.
