Panel on small hydro power

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Energy Management Centre (EMC), an autonomous body under the Department of Power, has invited applications from those who are willing to serve on a panel on small hydro power (SHP) it is setting up in due course.

An official spokesman said here that those professionals who have core competence in the field of planning, design and implementation of hydropower projects and proven experience in the preparation of technical reports are eligible to apply.

Detailed application may be forwarded to the Director, Energy Management Centre, Thycaud P.O., Thiruvananthapuram - 14 so as to reach his office on or before October 30, 2004, the spokesman added.
