People ROOTS agency recast Our Bureau
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former Minister Mr M.M. Hassan has been appointed as the Acting Chairman of ROOTS, the field agency of the Department of Non-Resident Keralite Affairs (NoRKA). An official spokesman said here that one of the directors, Mr M. A. Yousuf Ali, has been appointed Vice-Chairman of the agency. Other members on the board include Mr Jiji Thomson, Secretary, NoRKA; Mr Satish Namboodiripad, Chief Executive Officer, ROOTS; and Mr C. K. Menon, based in Doha.
