Global telecom meet in Mumbai from Oct 25

A WIDE variety of issues related to rural telecommunications, broadband services and convergence, telecom software and Internet security would be discussed at length during the three-day TELECOMM India 2004 conference being organised by India-Tech Foundation in Mumbai from October 25.

The international conference will also feature an exhibition, which would highlight the present status and projections in the domestic telecom and IT sectors.

Delegates from UK, USA, China, Denmark, France, Germany, Japan, Singapore and Switzerland are expected to attend the conference.

The conference will be capped by a buyers-sellers meet. Officers from the Ministry of Communications and representatives of as BSNL, MTNL, Siemens Public Network Communications, Bharati Televentures, Reliance Infocomm and Cisco Systems will take part.
