New Delhi , Oct. 23

MARKETING services company Solutions Integrated has entered into a 49:51 joint venture with the US-based SPAR Group Inc to provide retail activation services to marketers and retailers in India.

"Marketers are increasingly aware that mass media reaches only 58 per cent of consumers. At the same time, marketers are also seeking to go beyond the traditional distribution paradigm of merely ensuring availability to experimental marketing at the point of purchase. SPAR Solutions has been set up to offer end-to-end retail activation solutions," the Managing Director of Solutions, Mr Srikant Shastri, said here.

The SPAR Group has made investments in developing 24x7 Internet-based real-time information and client accessibility system support and this backbone will provide the joint venture's cutting-edge technology to offer uniquely different services to its clients, he added.
