Cattle being brought to Kerala from Tamil Nadu on the Chinnar-Munnar National Highway route. The Kerala Government has initiated steps to ensure that the cattle brought to the State are free from diseases. Medical examination of the cattle is conducted at 19 checkposts and earrings are put on healthy animals before entry into the State.
