NEW DELHI: With affordability being a key influencer in PC purchases, HCL Infosystems and Union Bank of India have entered into a partnership to fit a computer into the monthly family budget through a low EMI. "A HCL Ezeebee PC will now be available at an equal monthly instalment (EMI) of Rs 499 per month. It would be available on an Ezeebee with Pentium 4 and Intel's hyper-threading technology," according to an HCL statement here. The statement said recent research had indicated that PC ownership could help a family in many ways, the prime reason being child's education. "HCL Ezeebee can be used by all members of the family, from learning to digital entertainment to Internet to work at home," it said.
