Financial Performance Geometric Q2 net up 19 pc Our Bureau
Mumbai , Oct. 25 GEOMETRIC Software Solutions has recorded a net profit of Rs 6.32 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, up 19 per cent on the Rs 5.30 crore posted in the previous corresponding quarter. The consolidated total revenue for the quarter ended September 30, 2004, increased 53 per cent to Rs 40.84 crore (Rs 26.72 crore) while the profit before tax grew 35 per cent to Rs 9.03 core (Rs 6.67 crore). According to the Managing Director, Mr Manu Parpia, the company had concentrated on scaling up internal processes to meet the growing business demand during the quarter. On a sequential basis, operating revenues (sales) grew 14 per cent to Rs 39.86 crore during the quarter as compared to Rs 34.92 crore for the preceding quarter. During the quarter, the company extended its eDrawings software to all major CAD platforms.
