Ruling steady

Garlic prices have stayed firm for the past six months on good demand and adequate supplies. Prices in the wholesale market in Bangalore are ruling at between Rs 1,000 and Rs 1,400 per quintal. In other parts of the country such as Hyderabad and Chennai, the prices are a little higher at around Rs 2,750.
