DUBAI is to host West Asia's first International Helicopter Technology and Operations Exhibition, the `Dubai Helishow,' from December 6 to 9.

The show is to be held at the Dubai Airport Expo.It will target both military and commercial segments of the industry, and will act as a forum to showcase technology upgrades in every conceivable aspect of the helicopter industry, according to a statement from the organisers issued here on Monday.

The Dubai Helishow 2004 holds great significance for the region, considering the growing interest and development in this sector of the aviation industry.
