Airtel service in 4 more towns in Kerala

KOCHI: In its effort to provide complete coverage across the State, Airtel has launched its services at the four main towns of Kalpetta, Mananthavadi, Meenangadi and Sultan Battery in Wayanad district.

With this launch, Airtel has commissioned 432 sites across the State - the largest among all private telecom players in the State. With more sites scheduled to come up soon, Airtel foresees the company becoming the market leader in the telecom field in the State by the end of this year, Mr T. Elango, Chief Operating Officer, Airtel Mobile Services, Kerala, said in a statement.

The company announced the first winner of its Oru Laksham Oru Lakshyam contest from Kerala. Mr Jaffer P.K. from Talliparamba in Kannur district was presented a cheque of Rs 1 lakh by Mr Elango.
