CJ-led Bench to hear Federal Bank cases

THE writ appeal filed by Federal Bank Chairman, Mr K.P. Padmakumar, in the Kerala High Court challenging the stay order on the proceedings of the annual general meeting of the bank, was on Tuesday referred to a Division Bench headed by the Chief Justice. A Division Bench comprising Mr Justice Cyriac Joseph and Mr Justice Thottathil Radhakrishnan posted the hearing to a Bench headed by the Chief Justice of the Kerala High Court. In all likelihood, the Bench will take up the hearing on Wednesday, Mr B.S. Krishnan, counsel for Federal Bank, said.

The Division Bench also posted the petition filed by the newly elected Director, Mr K.P. Fabian, to the same Bench.
