Paswan urges RINL to go for joint ventures

RASHTRIYA Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL) may consider entering into joint ventures or acquiring coalmines in view of the input shortage following an advisory by the Government.

"The Union Minister for Steel, Mr Ram Vilas Paswan, has stressed on the need to expedite action on acquiring coalmines to ensure continued supply of coal for RINL," said an official statement.

The Minister made this remark while reviewing the performance of the company for the first half of this fiscal.
