Mangalore Chemicals Q2 net up 67 pc

THE second quarter performance of Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilizers (MCF) Ltd has improved with turnover increasing by 37.5 per cent at Rs 286.71 crore, and net profit increasing by 67 per cent at Rs 14.48 crore.

A MCF press release said here on Tuesday that the key drivers for this performance were higher capacity utilisation, improved energy management, tight control over costs and good monsoons.

The company continues to show improved results quarter-on-quarter by improving the overall efficiency of its operations, it said.

During H1 of the current financial year, the turnover of the company increased by 55 per cent and net earnings by 132 per cent.
