Ramco Systems posts profit

RAMCO Systems has reported a net profit of Rs 2.32 crore on total income of Rs 36.40 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2004 compared to a net loss of Rs 12.29 crore on revenues of Rs 19.43 crore for the corresponding quarter last year.

During the September quarter, revenue from product software and related services increased to Rs 14.23 crore (Rs 2.56 crore).

Mr P.R. Venkatrama Raja, Vice-Chairman, Managing Director and CEO, Ramco Systems, in a press release said, continued customer acceptance of VirtualWorks-based solutions had helped the company achieve its objectives and enabled it to accelerate the positive momentum created over the last few quarters.

"Our efforts are focussed at streamlining our market initiatives and internal business processes to handle the next phase of growth in solution engagements," he said.
