LIBA offers executive programme

Our Bureau

Chennai , Oct. 28

LOYOLA Institute of Business Administration (LIBA) in association with Universitas 21 Global will offer a blended learning programme that integrates the on-campus experience with interactive online learning modules.

The one-year executive programme proposed by LIBA offers two areas of specialisation — an Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management and an Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management. The courses are designed for working professionals or graduates with a minimum of one-year experience. The programme will be open for enrolment from November 3 and will cost Rs 96,000.

The on-campus component of each programme is segregated into four visits to the LIBA campus. Universitas 21 Global will provide the online tuition.

Father P.Christie, Director, LIBA, said with globalisation immense possibilities have opened up and businesses should take advantage of these opportunities. Against this background business education has to be cross-cultural or it is irrelevant.

Dr Jeremy Williams, Director, Instruction and Assessment at Universitas 21 Global, said that the curriculum is designed to be functional and practical and is focused on developing the kind of skills that are in high demand in the market place.

Universitas 21 Global is an online graduate business school and offers a globally recognised MBA programme backed by 16 universities worldwide. It is a joint venture between Universitas 21, an international network of 16 universities, and Thomson Corporation.
