Events Vijaya Bank workshop on NRI deposits Our Bureau
MANGALORE: The Mangalore Regional Office of Vijaya Bank conducted a workshop on "NRI deposits and investments" for the managers of 35 branches here on Wednesday. A bank release said here on Thursday that the workshop was organised to provide information to the managers to improve NRI business of the bank. Inaugurating the seminar, the Assistant General Manager of the bank, Mr K. Sadananda Hegde, urged the managers to provide prompt service to NRIs. Mr B.G. Bhat, Chief Manager, International Banking Division, Bangalore, and Mr B.K. Prakash, Faculty, Staff Training College, Vijaya Bank, conducted the workshop, it said. Another press release said that the Tumbe branch of the bank was shifted to new premises on Wednesday. The Assistant Commissioner of Mangalore, Mr A. Prabhakara Sharma, inaugurated the new branch premises, the release added.
