Discussion on bank mergers

MANGALORE: Corporation Bank Officers' Organisation (CBOO) will hold a panel discussion on `Should the banks be merged?' in Udupi on October 30. A CBOO press release said here on Thursday that Mr K.R. Shenoy, former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Lakshmi Vilas Bank Ltd, and Mr T.R. Bhat, Joint General Secretary of All-India Bank Officers' Confederation, will be the panellists at the discussion.

Prof G.V. Joshi, Coordinator of Corporation Bank Chair in Bank Management at Mangalore University, will be the moderator, it added.
