I-T grievances redressal

THE Income Tax Department is observing a Vigilance Awareness Week from November 1 to 6.

Announcing this here, Mr L. Kuriakose, Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, said that this year, the focus would be on creating awareness among income tax assesses with special emphasis on redressal of grievances.

He requested members of the public to approach officers of the department with their grievances during the week, which will be attended to promptly.
