CHENNAI: Indian Bank has entered into an agreement with Tractors and Farm Equipment Ltd under which the bank will lend to those who want to buy TAFE's tractors.

Purchasers will get a concessional interest rate and the benefit of lower margin money. The company will reduce the price by Rs 4,000 if it is bought through Indian Bank.

At a function held at Tiruvannamalai on Friday, 136 tractors of a value of Rs 5.10 crore were disbursed to farmers, says a press release from the bank.
