Indo-German Sci-Tech Forum on Nov 1

HYDERABAD: The Indo-German Sci-Tech Forum 2004 will meet at the University of Hyderabad, here during November 1 and 2, to explore ways of strengthening linkages for mobility of scientists and forge cooperative research projects between the two nations.

Leading academics from both countries are expected to take part in a series of collaborative scientific workshop and lecture-cum-seminar sessions in biotechnology, plant biochemistry, environmental research, nanotechnologies and infectious diseases.

Dr M.G. Huber, Vice-President of the German Academic Exchange Services (DAAD), Bonn, Mr Erwin Wendland, Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany in Chennai, Prof. V.S. Ramamurthy, Secretary, Department of Science and Technology (DST), and Dr Kota Harinarayana, Vice-Chancellor, University of Hyderabad, will participate.
