Star Paper Q2 revenue up

STAR Paper Mills Ltd ended the second quarter of the current fiscal with better financial results compared to the same quarter last fiscal.

Its sales revenue for the second quarter has risen to Rs 51.77 crore and net profit to Rs 5.41 crore from Rs 50.94 crore, and Rs 3.05 crore, respectively of the same period last year.

With industry-best growth rates for the second consecutive quarter of the current fiscal, the company's performance for the six months ended September, is significantly better as compared to the first half of the previous year.

For the first half of the current fiscal, it posted revenues of about Rs 100 crore compared to about Rs 95 crore to the same half of the previous year.

The annualised EPSstood at Rs 13.88 per Rs 10 share as compared to Rs 7.80 per share during the same period of the previous year.
