For passengers from Kochi this offer is valid up to November 30, and passengers in Thiruvananthapuram can avail of the monsoon offer up to November 15, a press release from SriLankan Airlines has said. While airfare for the Kochi-Colombo- Kochi is Rs 8,600 per person, the fare for the Thiruvananthapuram- Colombo- Thiruvananthapuram sector is Rs 7,300. The offer is inclusive of return airport transfers, the release added.

Passengers will be entitled to vouchers for their stay at the point of purchasing the ticket. Passengers are to be accommodated in hotels such as Dolphin, Blue Oceanic, Brown Beach and Tamarind Tree.

The offer aims to encourage passengers to travel to Sri Lanka during the festive season and witness the evergreen magic of Colombo.

The charming Colombo Fort, gem & jewellery stores, handicrafts and clothing boutiques, modern department stores and international chain stores add to the appeal of the Sri Lankan capital.

SriLankan Airlines also announced that it is stepping up its operations from 7 to 9 flights per week from Thiruvananthapuram.
