Our Bureau

Mumbai , Nov. 1

NORASIA, a leading shipping line in the East-West routes and a member of the CSAV Group, has announced the launch of its new ABS service in association with Hapag-Llyod.

The new service will link ports in Asia to the Black Sea and East Mediterranean, apart from providing a round trip to key ports.

According to a company official, the services will commence from November 26 with a deployment of seven ships of about 3,000 TEU capacity each and a speed of 22 knots. The port rotation is Shanghai-Ningbo- Keelung- Chiwan- Port Klang- Damietta- Constantza- Instanbul- Damietta- Colombo- Port Klang- Shanghai.

"The Black Sea has long been an important region for trade and is one of the fastest growing regions of the world today, making it a key part of Norasia's future strategy. As trade expands rapidly, Norasia is well placed to ensure its customers are benefited with more ports, prompt transit times and good service," the official said.
