CentrumDirect opens Bangalore office

CENTRUMDIRECT Ltd has opened its regional office in the city. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Centrum Finance Ltd, a category I merchant banker which raises funds in the equity and debt market.

CentrumDirect is a retail moneychanger catering to the investment, insurance and forex needs of high net worth individuals, retail investors and corporates. Other services include savings and investment products, life and non-life insurance including pension plans, stock broking and foreign exchange.

The regional office located at Indiranagar was inaugurated by Mr Rajan C. Bhat, Vice-President, Global Travellers Cheques & Prepaid Services South Asia & Asean, American Express Travel Related Services. With over a million customers across India, Centrum plans to open 50 branches by June 2005, informed a company release.
