MANGALORE: Mr P. Jayashankar Rai, Head (HR), Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilizers Ltd, has said that the proper management of human resources is the need of the hour.

Inaugurating `Srajana,' the cultural association of Justice K.S. Hegde Institute of Management at Nitte in Udupi district on Monday, he said that cultural activities provide a common platform for people of different hierarchies in an organisation to share their ideas.

Presiding over the function, Dr M.S. Moodithaya, Director of the institute, stressed on the need for personality development of students.
