Cognizant wins deal from Wallenius Wilhelmsen

COGNIZANT has announced a one-year services agreement to provide IT infrastructure management for Wallenius Wilhelmsen, a global specialist in ocean, inland and supply chain management, which operates over 60 modern vessels and 600 vehicle transporters across five continents.

The President and Chief Executive Officer of Cognizant, Mr Lakshmi Narayanan, in a statement said, "With our infrastructure services practice, Cognizant continues to expand the range of IT outsourcing services". The Chief Information Officer of Wallenius Wilhelmsen, Mr Reidar Hauge, said, "Wallenius Wilhelmsen has selected Cognizant to help reduce its management and maintenance costs for all of its global IT operations, while maintaining high service levels."
