AHMEDABAD: Dishman Pharmaceuticals and Chemicals Ltd, an Ahmedabad-based contract manufacturer of drugs, has reported that its net profit for the quarter ended September has more than doubled to Rs 8 crore.

The company had reported a net profit of Rs 3.76 crore for the same quarter last year.

Total income during the quarter under review rose 68 per cent to Rs 53.37 crore (Rs 31.51crore).

Exports accounted for 84 per cent of total sales against 73 per cent earlier, according to a company release.
