Mumbai , Nov. 2

IN a bid to replicate successful e-governance applications developed in Gurgaon centre, Oracle and Hewlett-Packard teams in India would now help in setting up of e-governance centres of excellence (CoE) in markets such as the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

"We are now helping these countries set up centres of excellence. The idea is to take some of the successful e-governance applications which have been developed here, to other markets where they can be localised," Mr Shekhar Dasgupta, Managing Director of Oracle India, said at a conference here.

He said that the `Threat Manager' application could potentially be one such solution, which could be localised for other markets.

Earlier , Oracle launched the latest version of its applications offering - Oracle e-business suite 11i.10 in the country.
