Tata AIG Life first premium income up 72 pc

TATA AIG Life Insurance Company has said that its first premium income rose 72 per cent to Rs 108.6 crore in the first half of the current fiscal year. During the corresponding period of the previous year, the company had reported a first premium income of Rs 63.1 crore, Tata AIG Life said in a press release.

The company's total premium income was Rs 194.3 crore (Rs 89.1 crore) and it covered over 1.5 lakh lives in the first half this year.
