Nabard loan for rural projects in AP

HYDERABAD: The National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Nabard) has sanctioned an amount of Rs 175.98 crore as loan assistance to the Andhra Pradesh Government for implementing rural road and bridge projects at an estimated cost of Rs 229.48 crore.

The bank's Projects Sanctioning Committee at its recent meeting in Mumbai has sanctioned these projects under the Rural Infrastructure Development Fund.

According to a Nabard press release here on Tuesday, the projects sanctioned include development of 183 rural roads and construction of 11 bridges at various places in the State.
