THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Southern Railway will run special trains on the Chennai Central-Thiruvananthapuram Central and Chennai Egmore-Nagercoil sections in view of the Sabarimala-Christmas-New Year season ahead.

Announcing this, an official said the 635/636 Chennai Central-Thiruvananthapuram Central specials would run four days a week and the 605/606 Chennai Egmore-Nagercoil, bi-weekly. Train no. 635 will depart from Chennai Central at 9.15 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday to arrive at Thiruvananthapuram Central the next day at 4.30 p.m. Train No. 636 will depart from Thiruvananthapuram Central at 7.30 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday and arrive at Chennai Central the next day at 12.30 noon.
