Foods & Food Processing `Healthy' menus from Chennai Taj Our Bureau
The new menus have been planned keeping in mind the dietary requirement of the fitness-conscious leisure travellers. Chef Natarajan said that these menus offered a wide variety for breakfast, launch, dinner and snacks. There are also `round the clock' meals, which offer a range of high-energy sandwiches and wraps, prepared with whole-wheat breads, fresh vegetables and low fat high-energy ingredients. The kids' menus include favourites like creamy tuna salad sandwiches, potato chips, the triple-decker peanut butter and jam sandwiches. The breakfast menu has pancakes with chocolate chips, waffles with chocolate chips and the traditional scrambled eggs with toast complemented with a glass of milk or juice.
