SBT shifts Akkulam branch

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: State Bank of Travancore (SBT) has shifted its Akkulam branch in the suburbs to new premises with an ATM facility.

An SBT spokesman said here that Air Marshal S.Y. Savur, Air Officer Commanding-In-Chief, Southern Air Command, inaugurated the new premises. Mr P. Sudeep, Registrar, Centre for Earth Sciences Studies (CESS), opened the 252nd ATM of the bank, which is the 213th in the State, at the fully computerised branch.

Mr N. Ravichandran, General manager, SBT, presided over the function while Mr H. N. Das, Deputy General Manager, inaugurated the safe deposit locker by handing over the first key.
