Bullion recovers

MUMBAI: Silver recovered smartly on the bullion market on Thursday. Gold also recovered its overnight loss.

Pure gold .999-fineness ended higher at Rs 6,425, also a Rs 50 gain.

CHENNAI: Bar silver Rs 11240 a kg; retail silver Rs 12.05 a g; standard gold Rs. 6415 per 10 gm; ornament gold 22-carat Rs 594 a gm.
