New premises for Dhanalakshmi Bank

MANGALORE: Dhanalakshmi Bank is shifting its Mangalore branch to new premises on MG Road.

Mr D. Nanharam, Deputy General Manager, told newspersons on Thursday that the Mangalore MLA, Mr N. Yogish Bhat, will inaugurate the new premises. The President of Kanara Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr A. Srinivasa Rao, will inaugurate the strongroom.

The bank, which has 168 branches and 21 extension counters, is planning to add 14 branches during the current fiscal. The bank also plans to set up 100 on-site and off-site ATMs by September 2005. The bank has set a micro-credit target of Rs 2 crore for the Mangalore branch, he added.
