BHEL facility inaugurated in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: The Rs 8.38-crore Centre of Excellence for Computational Fluid Dynamics (COE-CFD), established at the Corporate Research & Development of the Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL), was formally inaugurated by its Chairman & Managing Director, Mr Ashok K. Puri.

CFD is an important tool for design engineers. With advanced software and hardware and trained personnel, the Centre would cater to a variety of products of the power and industrial sectors, a press release from the Corporate R&D said. The COE-CFD inaugurated on Thursday would also organise seminars, training programmes and interactions with experts to promote the discipline of computational fluid dynamics.
